Pete Kozak is a behavioral therapist, teacher, and percussionist who believes that music is among the most powerful forms of human connection, and that we are all better off when we come together to listen, dance, and celebrate life. This led him to create Especially Everyone, an inclusive, engaging concert experience designed to to make live music more accessible to all abilities.
Especially Everyone concert experiences are designed to engage the audience and to make live music more accessible to people that may find some elements of a traditional concert challenging, including people with disabilities. Show features and amenities include multiple genres, music played at a lower volume, relaxing spaces to take breaks, friendly staff, and opportunities to be a part of the show.
Pete and the Especially Everyone team have participated in previous Inclusion Festivals, performing alongside musical guests with disabilities and showcasing how beautiful inclusion on a concert stage and among audience members can be. Members of Inclusion Festival staff have attended Especially Everyone shows, collaborating to create sensory safe spaces. This partnership led Pete to further develop a relationship with Accessible Festivals, and to embark on a new project with the support of our fiscal sponsorship program, which allows others to carry out projects that further Accessible Festival’s mission to make recreation and leisure accessible to all abilities.
We are excited that Especially Everyone will be opening for featured artist Ryan Montbleau at our upcoming Inclusion Dining & Jams event, live-streamed on April 11, 2021 at Muskifest Cafe in Bethlehem, PA. To learn more about Especially Everyone visit the current projects page on our website.
