Accessible Festivals is dedicated to making live music and recreational events fully accessible for people of all abilities. By educating the public and bringing together like-minded organizations, we can end the stigmatization involved with having a disability so that everyone can have the opportunity to have amazing experiences, regardless of ability.
Our Impact
Since 2014, Accessible Festivals has collaborated with various like-minded organizations, individuals and communities throughout the country to establish a bedrock of accessibility for any live music or recreational event. While improvements continue to be made year after year, accessibility has now become a prominent aspect of any event operation.

Our mission is to foster connection and understanding through the universal language of music, to provide spaces where people of all abilities and identities can connect and build relationships, and to inspire the creation of safe, inclusive, and equitable communities.

Accessible Festivals is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all. We are continually listening and learning from the disabled community in order to improve the user experience for everyone, and striving to exceed accessibility standards. At this time, there is no “one size fits all” solution. We have taken measures to ensure our website is coded to work optimally with assistive technology for users with visual, auditory, and physical disabilities. We also choose to offer an overlay with functions like color and size adjustments, text highlighting, and more for neurodiverse users and those with cognitive disabilities.
