Inclusion Festival

Inclusion is for EVERY body!

Inclusion Festival began as the nation’s first and only sensory-friendly music and wellness festival, designed to accommodate and include people of all abilities. Due to the global pandemic, Inclusion Festival was re-imagined as “Inclusion Festival ONLINE.” The three-day event debuted August 21-23, 2020 featuring best practices in virtual accessibility, including closed captioning, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, accessibility tools, social stories, movement workshops, and more.

Inclusion Festival ONLINE used assistive technology to increase online accessibility, brought together an exciting lineup of diverse musicians, thought-leaders, and educators from across the country, and implemented innovative, engaging ways to connect and socialize while celebrating inclusion.

Believing the concepts of inclusion are fundamental to all experiences and communities, the festival has since grown to promote inclusion as a state of mind through the creation of an online magazine, training programs, and sensory-friendly accommodations and modifications at events and in community settings.
